Every item in your checklist is one of these. Mix them freely inside sections.
- Pass / Fail / NA — the standard three-way result with optional photo and note.
- Pass / Fail — a binary check when N/A does not apply.
- Yes / No — present or absent: expansion tank installed, drip edge present.
- Number — a value with a unit: PSI, ppm, volts, inches, years.
- Multi-select — pick from options you define: pipe material, pests found, surfaces cleaned.
- Photo — camera or gallery, optionally required so the item cannot pass without evidence.
- Grid — cells with units for readings side by side: room × outlet result, chemical × amount.
- Text Fields — named inputs: model number, serial number, product used.

How a checklist becomes a report
A checklist is not a form that gets filed. When a tech runs it, the results feed the AI narrative, the color-coded findings table, and the photo pages of the PDF. Can I build a checklist for any trade?
Yes. The builder is trade-agnostic: plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest control, cleaning, pool service, or something we have never heard of. See the starter checklists on each trade page.
Can I build it on a computer instead of my phone?
Yes. The web dashboard has the same builder, and checklists you build there run on the phones of every tech on your account.
Can photos be required?
Yes. Any photo field can be required, so a tech cannot complete the checklist without the evidence you asked for.
Can I copy a checklist for a second service?
Build the second one the same way and reuse the sections you want; most owners have a standard visit, a deep version, and an inspection-only version within a week.
